6. Acceptable Use Policy

6.1 About this Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you must not do when using Solardeck.

It applies to all users, workspaces, accounts, uploaded content, generated outputs, client portals, exports, and related use of the Service.

6.2 Prohibited use

You must not use Solardeck to:

violate any law or regulation;

mislead customers, clients, investors, lenders, boards, public authorities, utilities, installers, or other stakeholders;

create or distribute fraudulent proposals, reports, pricing, guarantees, estimates, or client materials;

claim that Solardeck outputs are certified, stamped, engineered, permitted, professionally approved, or guaranteed when they are not;

impersonate any person or organisation;

upload, process, or share data without appropriate rights or permission;

infringe intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, data protection, or contractual rights;

interfere with the security, integrity, or operation of Solardeck;

test, scan, or probe Solardeck for vulnerabilities without written permission;

reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly allowed;

bypass plan limits, rate limits, billing systems, review gates, access controls, or security features;

upload malware, harmful code, or malicious files;

send spam, phishing, or deceptive communications;

use Solardeck for unlawful discrimination or abusive conduct;

use Solardeck in sanctioned or restricted jurisdictions where use would be unlawful;

use Solardeck in a way that creates material legal, security, safety, operational, or reputational risk.

6.3 Global restrictions

You must not use Solardeck in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations, including laws relating to privacy, data protection, consumer protection, sanctions, export controls, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, unfair competition, misleading advertising, professional services, energy regulation, construction, permitting, tax, finance, securities, or public procurement.

You must not use Solardeck where doing so would be unlawful in your jurisdiction or in the jurisdiction of your client, project, site, or intended recipient.

6.4 Solar-specific misuse

You must not use Solardeck to:

represent draft outputs as final engineering, design, permit, or construction documents;

make unverified production, savings, incentive, or financial-return guarantees;

conceal assumptions, exclusions, missing data, or confidence limitations from clients;

replace required professional review;

submit draft materials as permit-ready or utility-approved documents unless separately reviewed and approved by qualified professionals;

use estimates without checking project-specific inputs and assumptions.

6.5 Enforcement

If we believe you have breached this Policy, we may:

remove or restrict content;

disable sharing links;

suspend features;

suspend or terminate your account;

contact workspace administrators;

report unlawful activity where appropriate;

take steps to protect Solardeck, users, clients, or third parties.
